Local tennis team go to State in Augusta. 2010 Morgan County 3.5 womens tennis team qualitfied for state in Augusta, Ga. To go to state we had to get first place out of 10 teams during the season to qualify. Not an easy task! Lake Oconee offers some of the best tennis in the south! LOTA is an organization out of Lake Oconee and is located at Reynolds Plantation. However, there are also Morgan County teams for Men and Women, ranging from 3.0 to 4.5. Red Day 2010 Red Day is a day that all Keller Williams agents stop working for one day to give back to their community. Lake Oconee we joined with Atlanta East Metro to paint, pressure wash and clean up Elk Aidmore in Conyers. A place where young girls go when they have no where else to go. Most of these girls have been in violent homes or been abused or tossed back and forth between foster homes. They learn to reunite with themselves and others and get education to learn to function in society. It was a beautiful place however … (3 comments)
