What would you look for if you had to chose the best county to live if you are raising a family? I chose Chester County as the place I wanted to raise my family. For so many reasons.... the schools, the activities, the opportunities, the close proximity to beach/mountains/NYC, and so much more. It’s not just a Local Yokel that knows and experiences the outdoors in the area parks…. You can experience them with me! All the townships in Chester County have their own flavor of community parks with walking trails, preservation areas, soccer fields (especially full on Saturdays!), tennis courts, playgrounds, basketball courts, etc. There are also beautiful state parks in Pennsylvania; and I can’t forget the one National Park in Chester County. Relocation Clients are a different client. Different in the fact that its all rush, rush. You can't squeeze in a couple of houses over a few weeknights. Normally, as it was this weekend for me, it was a "hit the pavement fast and hard". We began early (9:00am) and I made the schedule begin with a vacant home. Downingtown Area School District teachers have been on strike since January 28th. It's finally back to school tomorrow, February 7th. The DAEA (Downingtown Area Education Association) and DASD (Downingtown Area School District) have the same messages on their website: The parties have tentatively agreed to a mediator's proposal and schoolwill resume on Thursday, Feb 7. to the new i-beam electronic lockboxes! I'm one of the unusual Chester County Realtors, I'm excited and looking forward to the change. ICE (In case of Emergency) should be programmed into your cell phone. I first heard of this a couple of years ago, and passed on the information thinking "What a great idea!" If an emergency was to occur, the respondents would check the cell phone for ICE listings - then call that/those persons listed. Little did I know, that emergency personnel are really encouraging people to do it!
