This Thanksgiving Day Parade of Unity and Diversity was held on Wednesday, Nov 27, 2019, at 9 AM, a day before Thanksgiving Day.
The parade is no comparison to Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in Manhattan, New York City, but is the work of unity by a diversity of teachers and students.

The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was at 10 AM on November 26, 2019, followed by Lion Dancing.
They opened their first store in Manhattan in 1991, selling buns, pastries, and cakes. This is the fifth store opened in Flushing, NY and the 13th in totals.

If you are visiting New York and are going to take the Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty, make sure to stop at the pop-up NYC Winter Lantern Festival at Empire Outlets which will run from Nov 21 to Jan 13, 2020. The display at Empire Outlets is free. Also, the park along the Outlets stands the "Postcards" - a 9/11 memorial sculpture.

NYC Eats - Giant Wonton at Maxi's Noodle.
The restaurant is located at 135-11 38th Ave., Flushing, New York.
Not the average wonton, it's huge, filled with shrimp. The cozy place uses disposable utensils, has a small menu, yet everything I tried is good. I have tried the wonton noodle soup, dumplings soup noodle, beef stew, spicy & sweet pork noodle, and the Hong Kong Milk Tea. Fish is not my thing, so I didn't try the fishball and the fish skin, but I heard it's good too.

Queens Veterans Parade was held on Sunday, November 3, 2019, in Middle Village, Queens NY.
The parade started at 12:00 PM from Metropolitan Ave at 80th Street and concluded at Christ the King Regional High School.
This is one of the Veterans Parades in New York City to Honor, Recognize and Thank America's Veterans, Military and their families.

Veterans Appreciation Parade 2019 Brooklyn to celebrate our heroes in Brooklyn honoring all who served and are serving!
The parade was held before Veterans Day and is one of the Veterans Day Parades in New York City. This one was held on Saturday, November 2, 2019, in Bed-Stuy which is the first time having Veterans Appreciation Parade in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York.

New York City's 46th Annual Village Halloween Parade was held on Thursday, October 31, 2019. The parade started at 7:30 PM and finished at about 10 PM.
It was drizzling in the evening, but the event would be on Rain or Shine.
Quoted from the official website: "100's of Puppets, 35 bands, dancers, artists, and thousands of other New Yorkers in costumes of their own creation in the nation's most wildly creative public participatory event in the greatest city in the world!"

It is one of the Halloween Parades in New York City. There will have the NYC Village Halloween Parade on Halloween Day.
This Parade was held on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at 1 PM. There were marching bands, drummers and kids with costumes, having fun walking on NYC streets.

Browsing Daiso Japan in Taiwan 大創百貨台中逄甲店
While traveling to Taiwan, I explore the Feng Chia Night Market in Taichung City, Taiwan. In the vicinity, there is a Daiso Japan. so I went shopping, took a quick walk-through to check if there were anything to buy for a souvenir. As usual, they are a discount store, selling cheap household items, skincare products, stationery, cleaning products, and Halloween decoration products at the time I visited, etc. I just came out empty-handed.

This time it was held in Brooklyn, New York.
Every year there will be few Falun Dafa (法輪大法) Parade or commonly known as Falun Gong (法輪功) Parade in New York City, usually on busy streets such as 42nd Street in Manhattan, Main Street in Flushing or 8th Avenue in Brooklyn. They will also send marching bands on some other parades.
WHAT IS FALUN DAFA/FALUN GONG?
It is a religious spiritual practice that combines meditation and qigong exercises centered on the tenets of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance/Tolerance.

I visited Taiwan for 9 days, this video is from Day 1.
I took EVA Air, arrived at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, then to Taipei by train.
I went to Taipei 10 by subway, then walked back toward Taipei Train Station, explored different must-see places, Xinyi Place area, National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Songshan Cultural & Creative Park, the food court at Sogo Fuxing Store where there are two world-famous food joints - Song Fa Bak Kut Teh and Din Tai Fung.

75th Annual Columbus Day Parade was held on Monday, October 14, 2019, to celebrate the anniversary of Christopher Columbus's arrival in the Americas in 1492.
The parade kicked off around 11:30 AM with over 120 marching groups including many colorful floats, marching bands, marching up Fifth Avenue from 44th Street to 72nd Street, in Manhattan, New York City.
Columbus is an Italian explorer. Italian Pride was displayed as red, white and green took over Manhattan, attracted tens of thousands of people.

Garden World in Flushing, NY, a good place to shop for Thanksgiving Decoration, Halloween Decor, Autumn flowers, etc. There was a Fall Festival, at the Columbus Day Weekend this year, with kiddie rides, pony rides, petting zoo, foods, hay, corn stalks, face painting, sands art and enchanting spots for taking a picture, bring funs for families. A lot of pumpkins, mums, autumn flowers, Thanksgiving Decor, Halloween Decorations were displaced.
Garden World is a full-service center that has been serving NYC and Long Island for over 50 years.

Panamanian Day Parade/Defile de los Panameños was held on Saturday, October 12, 2019, in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, New York.
The event was organized by The Day of Independence of Panamanians in New York, Inc. Their mission is to plan to develop and carry out an annual Independence Parade which will diffuse and disseminate information regarding their culture and their folklore in the United States.

82nd Annual Pulaski Day Parade was held on October 6, 2019, on Fifth Ave in Manhattan, New York City.
The New York City Parade began at around 12:30 PM and marched up Fifth Ave from 35th Street to 55th Street. There were marching band parade, motorcycle parade, floats, fire truck parade, NYPD marching band, etc.
The Pulaski Day Parade is a parade held annually since 1937 on Fifth Avenue in NYC to commemorate Kazimierz Pulaski, a Polish hero of the American Revolutionary War.
