75th Annual Columbus Day Parade was held on Monday, October 14, 2019, to celebrate the anniversary of Christopher Columbus's arrival in the Americas in 1492. The parade kicked off around 11:30 AM with over 120 marching groups including many colorful floats, marching bands, marching up Fifth Avenue from 44th Street to 72nd Street, in Manhattan, New York City. Columbus is an Italian explorer. Italian Pride was displayed as red, white and green took over Manhattan, attracted tens of thousands of people.

21st Annual Tartan Day Parade 2019 was held April 6, 2019 at 2 PM. Pipers, drummers, pipe bands, dancers, clans and dogs were marched up 6th Avenue (Avenue of America) from West 45th Street to 55th Street in Midtwon, Westside Manhattan, New York City. This year's Grand Marshal was Billy Connolly. Before the Parade began, there were singers, pipes and drums performed on the Fountain Terrace at Bryant Park. Almost 120 marching groups participated: NYC Police Department NYPD Mounted Unit United States Corps of Cadets West Point Pipes & Drums Grand Marshal Sir Billy Connelly with Family & Friends NTDNYC Color Guard NTDNYC Committee Scottish Parliament/Politicians/U.S.
