Fireworks was displayed in New York City at 9:15pm on June 15, 2021, to celebrate the Covid-19 restrictions being lifted in New York State. The show are also meant to honor essential workers for all of the work they've done. Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that 70% of New Yorkers aged 18 or older have received at lease one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.

Puerto Rican Day Parade was held in Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY on Sunday, June 13, 2021 People were gathering again after reopening of NYC, along Knickerbocker Avenue to celebrate the heritage. Red, white and blue flags could be seen everywhere. Music blasting, people dancing, it was so exciting we are going back to normalcy after the pandemic.

Air Force Thunderbirds and Navy Blue Angels fly over NYC in salute of First Responders, health care workers, etc. A special military flyover roared across the skies of New York City on Tuesday 4/28/2020 started at noon, over the George Washington Bridge, then over Manhattan and Newark, and crossed Queens to Long Island and back to Bronx, to pay tribute on the frontlines.

It was drizzling in the evening, but the event would be on Rain or Shine. 75th Annual Columbus Day Parade was held on Monday, October 14, 2019, to celebrate the anniversary of Christopher Columbus's arrival in the Americas in 1492. The parade kicked off around 11:30 AM with over 120 marching groups including many colorful floats, marching bands, marching up Fifth Avenue from 44th Street to 72nd Street, in Manhattan, New York City. Columbus is an Italian explorer. Italian Pride was displayed as red, white and green took over Manhattan, attracted tens of thousands of people.

82nd Annual Pulaski Day Parade was held on October 6, 2019, on Fifth Ave in Manhattan, New York City. The New York City Parade began at around 12:30 PM and marched up Fifth Ave from 35th Street to 55th Street. There were marching band parade, motorcycle parade, floats, fire truck parade, NYPD marching band, etc. The Pulaski Day Parade is a parade held annually since 1937 on Fifth Avenue in NYC to commemorate Kazimierz Pulaski, a Polish hero of the American Revolutionary War.

The 39th annual NYC Korean Parade was held on Saturday, October 5, 2019. It began at about 12 PM in Manhattan, New York The parade began on 6th Avenue at 38th Street and marching down to 27th Street. There were floats, marching bands, traditional Korean cultural performances, and Taekwondo performance. In addition to the Korean Parade, the Koreatown Street Festival was held on 32nd Street between 5th Avenue and Broadway.

"One City, Five Boroughs, All Workers" - Thousands of workers from all over the city from labor unions and worker advocacy groups participated in this "Labor" Day Parade. This is the real Labor Parade for workers, not the West Indian Day Parade that people also called "Labor Day Parade" because it always held on Labor Day.
