Mountain Sunrise Rotary Charity Auction ~ November 12th, 2011 at the Lake Arrowhead Country Club ~ There are many things that our mountain does well and this is just another example of the community coming together for a good cause and raising some money. Join in the fun and help out a local charity along the way!

3rd Annual Polar Bear Plunge in Lake Arrowhead, CA. This is a great cause that happen again this year. Local business people through out our community put this together to help raise money for our local charities. Each person who participates raises at leat $500 toward jumping in the lake. All the money raised stays right here on the Mountain. Our broker from Coldwell Banker Sky Ridge Realty donated himself to the cause. The water temp was around 44 degrees and the outside temp was around 52 degrees. … (3 comments)

It's getting close to that time of year again for the 2nd Annual Jump in the Lake... Lake Arrowhead Rotary Club last year thought up a way to raise money and have a little fun at it. Last year 40 volunteers raised $10,000 for community good works, by simply jumping in our freezing water on Valentines Day last year. Well this year is planned again. Dr. Patrick Rains is signing people up again to do the PolaRotary Bear Plunge. This year it will be held on February 6th at 10AM.
