October 10th is the Pine Cone Festival ~ The family fun event includes a Craft Contest, the now famous Pine Cone Olympics, lots of pine cone games, local music and of course the biggest Pine Cone in the World Contest.
This a day full of fun for the whole family and is held in the heart of Twin Peaks. October 10th from 10:00AM ~ 4:30PM at the Senior Center in Twin Peaks ~ The event is free to attend. I have a new favorite restaurant and I wanted to share this delightful news. The Historic Antler's Inn in Twin Peaks has a new owner. They have spared no expense on adding class and ambiance to this wonderful old building. Originally built in the 1920's, it has been home to many businesses. This time, I think it will be a lasting place. They have refurbished all of the cabins, and they are now available to rent out for vacation. The food at "The Grill" is fantastic.
