Columbus Ga, Fort Benning, area; OK, it has not come up in discussion for awhile, but Columbus Ga is probably home to Coca Cola. The reason for making this claim is the fact that Dr. Pemberton lived just north of Columbus back in 1869. For those Atlanta residents who insist the soft drink home is Atlanta, yes you are right, perhaps more correct than the Columbus claim that I made.
I'm sure that there are folks in Columbus that will forever claim this is home to Coke. As there are folks in Atlanta who may call us … (2 comments)
