Cabazon has 2 different Outlets although I doubt most people even notice the difference. The Desert Hills Premium Outlets has over 120 Stores, and has been a premier shopping destination for years. Big Tourist Buses bring International Shoppers here where they can find some great bargains. Desert Hills Premium Outlets is one of the Outlet Centers, and Cabazon Outlets is right next to it, and is very small....I haven't counted, but I think there are under 20 stores in the Cabazon Outlets. Cabazon, CA is an interesting little town. It's not a city, and only has one little store, a Post Office, and the Am/PM Gas Station at the Main Street exit. That's on the South Side of the Freeway....the side where locals think of Cabazon as Cabazon. For years Cabazon was just a small little town off the I-10 Freeway between Banning and Palm Springs. It was best known for the big Dinosaur on the North Side of the Freeway. That Dinosaur was made famous in a few movies, including a Pee Wee Herman one. That was Cabazon to most people.

The community of White water CA aka Cabazon is about 20 minutes from downtown Palm Springs, Ca, and about 2 hours east of Los Angeles. The White Water area has seen a growth of activity, partly because homes in Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego County have become unaffordable for the average family. Whitewater is at the neck of the Coachella Valley, and was originally called West Palm Springs Village. The original development had investors like Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, and Frank Sinatra. There was supposed to be over 500 lots of Commercial, a Drive-in, Polo Grounds, a Bowling Alley, and an Aquarium. Nice plans, … (10 comments)
