Ocean City, MD: Winterfest of Lights Begins on Thursday! (Nov. 21,2013) It's that wonderful time of year here at the beach! The holiday festivals are officially kicking-off! Head over tp Northside Park(125th St. Bayside) this Thursday for the official lighting of the giant Christmas Tree! Festivities begin at dusk... 4:30ish. School choirs, mini-speeches and the switch gets flipped to light Ocean City's gigundous Christmas Tree.... just like Times Square! Every year Northside Park is transformed into a winter wonderland of lights with "moving" characters from storybooks, songs and Christmas traditions.
