Recently, there has been a lot of talk about the size of the foreclosure inventory in the nation. There has been some speculation that distressed property inventories are about to skyrocket. Today, we want to reveal what is actually taking place in this segment of the housing market.
CoreLogic, in their most recent National Foreclosure Report, reported that foreclosure inventory has decreased by 23.2% since this time last year. The report also showed that foreclosure inventory has decreased in 49 of the 50 states … (2 comments)

I am telling you guys, you need to get on my foreclosure hot sheet - this is the second foreclosure deal I searched out today, and neither one are on the MLS....... YET !
I stopped by a house down the street, I knew the bank had been working on this one for awhile and the garage was open, so I went up to check it out, they were doing some last minute detail work, getting it ready to release next week. Actually in Kona we have them at the "Flagpole" instead of the courthouse, but it is the same thing, no online waiting, bidding against others in cyberspace, waiting for the auction house to give you an answer, only to find out after you won, all the bids were to low (that's in the small print on page 108 of the online disclosure-lol) ........ This is a bank owned foreclosure, 3 acres of land only, in a gated community, 1800 foot elevation, and great coastline views! Property is zoned for agriculture - meaning horses are welcome. Homeowners can relax a little again; Congress has included an extension of the Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act in an eleventh hour bill to avoid a possible fiscal cliff crisis. The Act was scheduled to expire on December 31, 2012, but has been extended, in the American Taxpayer Relief Act- until December 31, 2013.

Looking into my Crystal Ball, I see a bright a future, very BRIGHT, so BRIGHT, you have wear shades!
Predicting that the Median Home Price, again Kailua Kona area, will be up - approximately in the 7% range - remind you, this only a prediction, but I am feeling pretty good about it. I will even go one step further and Predict December 2012 increase over December 2011, to be in the … (2 comments)

I always considered being a REALTOR, especially in Hawaii, a pretty safe bet, and you would think, the day after Christmas, everybody is all fat and happy, in a good mood, and that your day would just roll off, not like any other day, but actually BETTER than most days. I know I was all Happy, the family and I, all had a wonderful Christmas, it was a warm, sunny, 81 degrees outside, I am standing a few inches taller with my new Christmas shirt I am wearing......
