I thought I would take a historical look at homes prices for Lake Wawasee as they pertain to Lake front homes and condominiums. I have compiled statistics for the years 2001 - 2008. On the charts below you will find the average sales price and number of sold properties for each given year. As you can clearly see 2008 was a year filled with uncertainty that affected lake properties even more so than the rest of the local market.

The ice is gone, piers are going in and the crappie are working their way into the channels. As I walk by the big blue monster in my drive, I am eager to pull that shrink wrap off and start prepping our boat for its annual launch. Eager to spend a sunny day on our beautiful Lake Wawasee . Last year just seemed different with marina gas around $5 a gallon, the lake traffic was down.
