September 2013 has started out a little slower than August 2013 in Sumter, SC real estate sales. The August Monthly report will be available soon. The number of homes pending for sales in Sumter, SC is still strong at the end of August 2013. As the PCS season slows in September, we shall see what happens with the Sumter, SC market.
August seemed to hit a mid month slump, but started to come back slightly. Sumter Consolidated School District as well as most private schools started classes on August 19, 2013 so many buyers are getting back into the back to school schedule of activities. Once schedules are set, we may see an increase in activity again. Below is the data:
March 2013 proved to be an exciting month in Sumter, South Carolina real estate. I for one watched eargerly as the month unfolded and the number of homes sold kept increasing. The number of pending properties or homes under contract for sale, has been higher than it had been since January. That meant that there were more homes going to close. Sumter SC ended March with 182 properties under contract or pending. February ended with 177 properties under contract or pending and while increasing the number of homes sold … (0 comments)
