Elongated days on the market make many relocated sellers leery they won't be able to carry the house indefinitely and choose to rent it while on the market for financial security instead of leaving it vacant. 
Sellers should however, think twice and where professional stagers come in to expedite offers!

Real Estate is unique work.  It's both a "JOB" and a "BUSINESS".  A job because Agents DO answer to their Brokers/Office Quotas and to Clients.  A Business because there is NO MONEY, unless YOU make it.  In a nut shell...DOUBLE the pressure!!  
Like all work, it can come and go but precious fleeting moments in our lives such as growing children and ailing family and friends are gone before you know it and many of us unfortunately don't "get that" until it's too late as we pave our career.  As commissioned people, we should all pace ourselves better because we … (7 comments)

The Real Estate Agent vs. Broker business model is squeued towards the Broker and tainted with RISKS for the agent. It comprises of peaks and valleys for agents, but little or none for the company/owner as they have a constant stream of income from many agents who constantly "FEED" their business. The cost of independence associated with sales can sometimes be too high if you let "things" consume you.

Still remember, how the manager presented my affiliation opportunity "How Lucky I was to get 50% of a commission" As a new agent, I bought it hook, line and sinker. Agents don't always know that they do have flexibility and a choice in the terms of how a real estate affiliation contract reads...even as a Newbie
Gone are the days when all Brokers would use AUTO PILOT and dictate an agent's commission and/or keep all your business but please don't be naive...many agents are still asked to BLINDLY sign real estate affiliation contracts for less than favorable commission splits and to … (4 comments)
