What the heck was the Listing Agent thinking when they priced that short sale?
This is one of the most common questions I hear from prospective buyers regarding short sales.  There are many instances where a buyer makes a full price offer on a short sale only to have the seller's lender counter at a higher price.  What is the result....a frustrated buyer who asks what was the listing agent thinking when they priced that home? Unfortunately, I can't always answer that question. I can help the buyer set reasonable expectations when entering the short sale process.
