The most frequently asked question we get, as full-time desert dwellers, is "What is it like to live in La Quinta in the summer?" Frankly... I love it. The pace is slower in La Quinta in the summer. Fewer golfers go by, less traffic, no reservations needed at restaurants, no waiting in line for anything. Tourists and snow-birds are gone and the locals rule.
We have a day-date to the movies and catch a happy hour on the way home. We take little day trips to nearby cities like Borrego Springs, Temecula, or spend the (16 comments)
