HOT weather, HOTTER real estate, COOL things to do in La Quinta! JULY is typically our hottest month in La Quinta, CA. Most residents have headed back to their homes in Colorado, Washington, Montana, or cooler beach cities in California. With 55 days already over 100°, and an average temperature of 107°... I don't blame them. Even many of my fellow full-timers here are bugging out and heading to the mountains or the coast. Just a few days away can be all you need to refresh and come back home with a better attitude.
