Wordless Wednesday:  October Desert Beauty!

During a home tour yesterday at PGA West in La Quinta, I captured this photo of the blooming desert yucca against the Greg Norman Golf Course and the Santa Rosa Mountains.  Our weather is gorgeous now with cool mornings and sunny, warm afternoons!
Come see us in La Quinta!

santa rosa mountains: Wordless Wednesday: On the way to dinner... - 08/28/13 07:44 AM

Last night we headed through Indian Wells to Palm Desert for dinner on El Paseo Drive.  The sunset was beautiful behind the Santa Rosa mountains and the palms along Highway 111 added their striking silhouettes.  Our desert is stunning all summer long!
I have posted this blog on my 365  facebook page, and asked others to share their #drivingtodinner photos...(passengers only)!

The other day while playing the beautiful and scenic Stone Eagle Club, I captured some of the incredible plants and vistas on the hills and mountains surrounding the Palm Desert club. This ocotillo was just bursting with color!
The stunning Tom Doak designed golf course is nestled in the Santa Rosa Mountains and the San Jacinto National Monument and is surrounded by thousands of acres of protected land.

Each area has its own personality – I will provide a description of each area along with a sampler of trails … (4 comments)
