In a town where classic designs never go out of style... this 50's desert modern home is still a rock-star! Purchased in 1956 by Paul and Katharine Mavis, who owned an automobile/trucking business in LA, the 3,300-square foot property was designed by Cody for steel and aluminum tycoon Earl M. Jorgenson. Living in Los Angeles, Paul and Katharine were friends of composer Hoagy Carmichael, who owned a home just a couple of doors down from the Jorgenson house. It was also a Cody design. Recently, the kitchen and carport served as backdrops for a Justin Timberlake photo spread in the July (4 comments)
