This Saturday, December 12th, 2009, is the 20th Annual Holly Festival in Milton, Delaware. This is one of the most popular events of the year and there is something for everyone throughout the town. The Holly Fest vendors and crafters fill the Fire House and Goshen Hall, both located in the heart of town. There is an active group of small business owners that make up the Milton Chamber of Commerce. Tonight the June Mixer was hosted by the Milton Garden Club. Kathryn Greig's personal garden was the site and what a beautiful garden for a party. If the other gardens on the tour - July 11th - are anything like Kathryn's garden we are all in for a treat.

On Saturday, June 6th, 2009, the town of Milton, Delaware was abuzz. All 850 tickets were sold out for the 6th Annual Summer Bash happening right in the heart of town. Last year the event was a fundraiser to elect Jack Markell the next Governor of Delaware. This year, Governor Jack Markell welcomed all and hosted this year's fundraiser for the Food Bank of Delaware! It's one thing to hear how difficult it is to obtain a mortgage on the news; it's another to experience the reality with our buyers these days. Saturday May 2, 2009, is the ANNUAL MILTON DELAWARE YARD SALE. You will find everything from quality antiques to garden items, children's toys, books and more. It's one of the best yard sales and everyone I know in town has been getting ready all week long.

Discover Milton, Delaware on President's Day Weekend! On Sunday, February 15th, from 12 noon until 3 pm, many of the Realtors with homes listed for sale in the town of Milton will be holding an Open House. Milton, Delaware, is a great place to visit during one of the many annual festivals. This year, the annual Bargains on the Broadkill and The Great Duck Race will take place on Saturday, August 23rd.
