I am very impressed with how quickly Bank of America is processing a current short sale which I have listed.  My sellers just accepted an offer 11 days ago, and all documents have already been given to BOA, the valuation has been completed, and we are now waiting for a response from Bank of America on it's acceptance.  I really don't think it will be more than 4-5 days to receive that.  The short sale specialist and negotiator have been amazing!  They have contacted me on a daily basis to up date me on the status.  If I sent them an … (9 comments)

Today when I was speaking with my negotiator in the short sale dept. with Bank of America, I made the comment that I was pleasantly surprised by the speed at which this short sale was progressing.  I am really impressed with the Equator system they now use.  Upon being assigned my negotiator, he gave me his phone no. immediately and told me to call him anytime so we could get this thing done.  I'm thinking, "yeah right".  So I tried calling him on his direct no. and to my surprise he answered the phone.  Wow.  No voicemail, no waiting on hold.  … (5 comments)

boa short sales: Seller More Actively Involved Now on Bank of America Short Sales - 10/04/10 04:10 PM
Bank of America is impressing me with some recent changes they are making to improve the streamlined short sale process through the Equator System.  The Equator system is a great idea so documents and status of the short sale can be done on-line instead of the never ending faxing, not knowing if they are received by anyone, and trying to speak with a knowledgable representative by phone.  Now BOA is getting the seller more directly involved by having them upload their documents themselves to BOA through a secure site set up only for them.  It gives them some feeling of control in the process.  … (3 comments)
