- 04/05/12 01:33 PM
This beautiful home on 3 acres would be perfect for the baby boomer who wants all the essentials on one level without stairs, for the large family that requires 4-5 bedrooms and plenty of space to run and explore, or anyone in between. A very open floor plan with a Great Room, formal dining, sturdy/office, laundry and master suite on the main level also has a bright lower level with 2 bedrooms and a Jack N Jill bath in between on each set of bedrooms. This home of just under 4000 sq. ft. is filled with interesting angles and curves (0 comments)
broomfield: Conservative Buyers Consider Westlake Village in Broomfield
- 01/20/12 02:36 PM
There is something for everyone in Westlake Village in Broomfield. Every style you could want is there whether you are a baby boomer and prefer a ranch or whether you are someone younger with or without a family and prefer a two story, tri-level or 4-level. What I like about Westlake Village is that the homes there are older, most of them built in the 1970's, but are priced very moderately and I think many buyers in today's market are wanting to play it safe and buy conservatively. To that I say, "Way to go, I like it!!" In Westlake Village, a (0 comments)
broomfield: Mustang Acres Horse Property
- 01/04/12 04:38 PM
Horse Property west of I-25 in the north corridor of Denver can be hard to come by at a reasonable price, but here in Mustang Acres your dream of owning horse property for around $300,000 to $400,000 that is within a 20 minute commute of downtown Denver, can indeed be a reality. Granted the homes were mainly built in the 1970's, but many are well kept and usually include at least 2 acres of horse property. Mustang Acres is a great commute to I-25, E-470 and Hwy. 7 into Boulder. It is also within a stones throw away from the Orchard (2 comments)

broomfield: Ranch with Acreage under $300,000 in Prime Location
- 08/24/11 11:36 AM
Priced at $299,900, I know of a home that is perfect for baby boomers looking for a hobby farm that has a ranch style home with no steps and main floor laundry. This home offers the perfect location West of I-25 and within walking distance to the popular Orchard Center Mall. It is surrounded by homes in the $500K and up range. It is a bank owned property that has recently gone through foreclosure and bank owned doesn't necessarily mean a run down property any more. This bank has refinished the hardwood floors, placed new carpeting in bedrooms and placed (0 comments)
broomfield: Great Broomfield Property Coming Soon
- 11/17/10 09:22 AM
Not yet listed, but coming very soon is a great 2 story home built in 2006 in the heart of the most sought after areas near 136th and Lowell. It will be priced very competitively. It last sold in 2007 for $510,000 , but sure to be priced much lower than that when the price is determined. It has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths totaling 3114 sq. ft. with an additional unfinished basement of 1258. You have to see the master suite on this home. It is to die for. Huge master bedroom and sitting area, which is divided by a see (0 comments)
broomfield: What Buyers Need to Know About Short Sales
- 04/09/10 05:39 AM
Thinking of Making an Offer on a Short Sale? What You Need to Know Are you looking to buy a new home? Are you thinking that now's a great time to find bargains? That's true, but it pays to know a little about the seller's situation before you make an offer. If a home is being sold for below what the current seller owes on the property-and the seller does not have other funds to make up the difference at closing-the sale is considered a short sale. Many more home owners are finding themselves in this situation due to a (0 comments)
broomfield: Gate N Green for the 55+ Crowd in Broomfield CO
- 03/15/10 05:59 PM
Broomfield has many great options for the downsizing baby boomers. The development of which I would like to speak today is called Gate N Green. It is for the 55 and over age group. It was built in several phases between the early 1970's and late 1980's. The homes there are all ranches with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and 2 car garages. It's centrally located in Broomfield and very near the local golfcourse. On the grounds there is an indoor pool to swim in year round, a nice clubhouse to use when the family comes to visit and near open space to go (0 comments)
broomfield: Old Couples Holding Hands * It's disgusting!
- 03/13/10 09:14 AM
If that's what you think, please read on..... I was driving to an open house today which I was hosting in Broomfield CO, and I noticed many signs of spring. There was one sign of spring in particular that I noticed. An older couple, both with graying hair, taking a leisurely walk down the sidewalk together. They didn't seem to be in a hurry. They didn't even appear to have much to say to each other. No longer did they need to rush to that next appt. or did they find it necessary to always come up with something to say (1 comments)
broomfield: Broadlands Distressed Properties
- 01/24/10 11:41 AM
Broadlands, a local golf course community in Broomfield CO seems to be holding it's own relative to homeowners being in a distressed situation when selling their homes. According to the last 6 mos. of sales in that subdivision, only about 20% sold in either short sale or lender owned (already been through foreclosure) situations. Many other areas within the Denver metro area are much worse off. But I have also noticed that there have been many properties in the Broadlands that have been for sale, but then withdrawn from the market. This was probably because the decline in market value will not enable (0 comments)
broomfield: Attended Foreclosure Sale Today
- 01/06/10 09:33 AM
I've always wondered what the process was like when homes in foreclosure, finally went to sale. Today I finally attended my first foreclosure sale, which happend to be in the City and County of Broomfield CO. Very uneventful, actually. A rep. came into the chambers and began to read off one property at a time, then asked if there were any other bids on that property, which there usually is not in Broomfield, and then it is announced that the winning bidder is usually the foreclosing lender at the bid price of what the homeowner owned the lender. The sales take place on each (1 comments)
