Although the real estate market is definitely slowing down and in general we are seeing fewer sold home, sales prices continue to be impressive. 
October 2022 was yet another solid month for the real estate market in the South Bay of Los Angeles.

The market is definitely slowing down and we're seeing fewer closed home sales in most cities but the sales prices continue to impress.

The one bedroom one bath oceanview condos of The Village in south Redondo Beach serve as a great indicator of the overall Redondo real estate market  as, unlike most beach property, the units are all the exact same size and configuration.
The difference in ocean views has a considerable impact as well as the floor it's on, but in general the units are all comparable.

Welcome to the March 2022 real estate recap for the month that was for home sales in Redondo Beach California.
The real estate market in Redondo Beach really picked up the pace with 74 on MLS homes closing escrow during the month, compared  to the 37 homes that closed escrow in February.
The average "list" price for the homes that sold was $1,514,688 with the average sold price at $1,626,255 meaning that, in general, homes sold WAY higher than the list price. redondo beach home sales: June Home Sales in Redondo Beach - 07/20/20 10:00 AM
It was a good news/bad news type of month for real estate in Redondo Beach for June 2020.  The bad news is that it was yet another slow month in terms of the number of home closing escrow. There were only 47 home sales which was a dramatic drop compared with June of 2019 that had 90 homes sell in the month. 
While the number of homes sold was slower the market in general was impressive.   The median "list" price for the homes that closed escrow was $1,149,000 with the median "sold" price being $1,165,000 meaning that most homes sold well over … (1 comments)

Click on any South Bay city to view the sold homes in September 2012. September was a strong month in terms of both the number of home sales as well as prices. Combined median prices for the cities below reached their highest point since December of 2010, which was skewed by dramatically lower number of sales and number of home sales continued to be strong.
