Not unexpectedly given the time of year, the real estate market in the South Bay was definitely on the slow side. Home sales were down in most South Bay and Beach Cities with people shifting their focus to the holidays. There just seems to be no end in sight to the super hot South Bay real estate market January 2022 was a much slower month for the number of homes that sold in most South Bay cities which was not a surprise given that December is always slower for escrows and there has been a record low inventory of homes for sale. Prices were record setting once again. The South Bay real estate market definitely remains a very favorable to sellers.
