seo: 7 Things I Wish I Knew Before Starting a Real Estate Blog - 05/25/21 04:17 AM
I have been blogging about real estate for about 20 years and really started to get serious about it 8 years ago.
There are a few things I know today, that I wish I knew years ago when I started a real estate blog. Having this knowledge from the beginning would have saved me time, money and aggravation.
Maybe you have started a real estate blog. Or, you have had a blog up and running for a while with lackluster results.
Writing a great article is one thing but getting consumers to visit your article is another. Your great real estate article is useless … (18 comments)

seo: Are You the Life of the Party or A Party Pooper? - 02/22/17 10:09 AM

For years I spent time writing what I thought was great content but internet traffic was ho-hum. And like probably many of people, I shared on all the social media channels, like I thought we were suppossed to do.
Still mediocre results.
Two Key Pieces for Upping Your Game
So I am not the brightest guy in the world :0  I kept doing the same thing with the same results.... until recently.

seo: Are You Getting Graphic With Your Blog Posts? If Not You Should!! - 02/20/17 11:25 AM

I have learned the hard way over the years, that good post graphics with your blog posts increases click thrus and sharing.
For many years I wrote great content.  I would spend all this time writing relevant content for my real estate blog... then sharing on social media.  Results were less than desired.  But a few tweeks in my approach changed things for the better.
The first step was adding great graphics and headlines to my blog posts.  The second step I will share in a follow this follow up article, Are You the Life of the Party or a Party Pooper?

seo: Alt A questions for Just Listed photos..... - 07/06/09 08:50 AM
When a listing is posted in AR, what makes the most sense labeling the images from a Search Engine Optimization standpoint?

I am curious as to what is the best title and description to put in these fields... I believe the Title is equivelant to an Alt a tag.
I would think youd want to do something location specific..... "just listed Salem New Hampshire" but my guess is you don't want to do that for every photo.
I am interested in hearing peoples suggestions.

seo: Question for you SEO super stars. - 01/12/09 04:01 AM

Actually a couple of questions.... I lied!!  Ok first question:
I did some extensive editing on several pages of my website.  My site has been crawled since the edits, but the pages have not been cached by google.  The old pages show up.  So how do you properly handle getting the new edited page to show up? and do you have to do anything to remove the old page? Secondly, do framed links, showing other pages effect the crawling of the rest of the page? Third on the condo page I have listed all the condos in Tewksbury MA, am … (3 comments)
