I wanted to take some time to day to write about an organization my wife Beverly has been very involved in for many years now and one she got involved due to her sister Barb's close relationship with the family. I am playing catch up siance I have been very fortunate with good business and I hope the same for all of my Active Rain family. I promised the 2012 team picture of Chickies Chick's from the Susan G. Komen Mother's Day Race for the Cure......another great outing and one that really kick-started my "get into shape" ???.0, LOL.

Texas Hold Em’ Tournament The St. Joseph's Knights of Columbus Council #7208 will hosta Texas Hold 'Em Tournament for Charity on Friday April 20at 7 PM at the St. Joseph School cafeteria, 338 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335 Registration opensat 6:30 PM. The St. Joseph's Church in Downingtown, PA is having its first Carnival....being put on by the Knight's of Columbus Council #7208. The date are Tuesday July 29th through Saturday August 2nd , 2008, each evening from 6 PM - 10 PM. The location is the rear parking lot behind St Joseph's Church and school on Manor Avenue in Downingtown. There will be rides for the young and old and everyone in between.....there will be food and games of chance. The Lionville YMCA is having its second annual Trivia Night....and let me tell you last year's was a hoot!!!!! The format is teams that are set around tables competing (for fun of course) enjoying good food and drink....many brought their own and made it a fun-filled evening. I would have gone even if I was not an Executive Board member......you will want to as well. Just when you think you know it all...well many were humbled including you know who.
