July was an interesting month for Hawaii's visitor industry, with Maui on top for growth in total visitor expenditures along with a strong performance in arrivals, according to the Hawaii Tourism Authority. This was good news for us, because not only are we West Maui real estate specialists, but we also have a Maui vacation rentalmanagement branch. Despite Maui's numbers, the statewide average of daily visitor spending and length of stay both fell in July compared to the same month last year.
