Can I enjoy myself while out showing properties? YES...I can! Yesterday, I was over in Jessamine County, Kentucky and had a little time to stop and smell the sweet aroma of country living! The property I was to show was south of Nicholasville on Brumfield Lane. On the way there and on the way back I couldn't resist a few shots to be able to share with you what I see everyday in Kentucky. The backroads are a blast to drive on and eye candy is everywhere. After touring horse farms yesterday , I took some time to take some beautiful pictures of Paris, Kentucky. This shot was of an old red motorbike complete with sidecar traveling South on 627 just outside of Paris. I wanted to get a good picture or two of the stone(slave walls) and this cyclist got in front of me. Delicately balancing my camera on the dash of my car at 65 MPH I snapped this cool picture! Don't get me wrong...I love my hometown. I was born in Madison County and I have lived half a century to see some major changes here. I am in the business of selling real estate. It would be rare to see a client buy farms just to see them stay as they are. Most always they are bought to subdivide for homes or build commercial buildings. I admit to the love of shopping and have been excited to see some better stores and restaurants move into Richmond Centre. Last Saturday, while I was out showing horse farms, I was in the middle of a beautiful plot of land out in Boatwright Estates in southern Madison County. This Sycamore tree is majestic and ancient. Just lean against one and feel the wisdom and peacefulness transfer to you! It made me wonder why developers move off all the beautiful trees when grading an area for a subdivision.
