This is for all of you that had to bake the bird this year. I found an easy way out by letting the local grocery oven roast mine for only five bucks. They clean it, bast it in butter, bake it to juicy perfection, then wrap it up perfectly in a pan covered in tin foil and put it in a box. All I had to do was slice it. Ahhhh...life is good. I can remember all of my family congregating at my Granny's house on Thanksgiving. It was amazing the amount of bodies that were fit into that small house in Mount Sterling KY. To a young impressionable child, it was BIG and a wonderland full of different toys(all in a whicker basket in her bedroom) and the smell of bread and turkey baking in the kitchen.
