Celebrity Apprentice is one of my favorite shows. I watch it every week.
Usually, it is recorded so I can watch when I have time. It never ceases to amaze me how celebrities are their own worst enemy and we get to see their character real flaws up close.
I hate to see my favorites get fired! Like Gene Simmons last season and Dennis Rodman this season.

2009 Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event
Once again the fabulous Kentucky Horse Park will be hosting the 2009 Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event on April 23 - 26th. International riders and their horses will be competing for $250,000 in prize money and a chance to win the $350,000 Rolex Grand Slam of Eventing prize.
NBC will be broadcasting the event for the sixth year. Online and advance ticket sales closed on April 1. The general Admission parking will be included in the ticket price.

Lucky numbers are not just for playing the Powerball Lotto!
Sometimes, when showing homes to clients there is one thing at the listing that reminds them of home or the house has a special number they think is lucky. Then they can make a quick decision to buy.
For example: While touring some homes, my relocation client saw the welcome mat at the front door and it was exactly like the one at her home so she immediately wrote an offer.
She knew it was a sign that this listing was special. It took the fear away of making an offer.

With so many homes on the market, the ones that get sold last are sometimes the ones need structural repair.
I can recall one nice house that I showed many, many times and all the clients were turned off after they saw all the cracks in the basement slab. This would have been a great house to buy other than that flaw.
The FHA 203k loan provides the extra financing to roll in the cost of the repairs (even cracked foundations)into the loan.

There's so much information out there now on buying a home.
Over 84% of buyers will be shopping online. All the information overload can be extremely confusing.
The fuzzy area for most folks that are just starting the search is the financing. This is the most important part.

Until this past year in Kentucky, it was easy to get houses sold for a good price.
There were even multiple offers everywhere! Yes, we Realtors(R) were almost order takers! Ahhhh...life was good!
What I noticed overall was just HOW some houses sold faster. It wasn't because: the agent was brilliant, the marketing was spot on, open houses were held every weekend or even that there was more than one prospective buyer.
What sold the house fast was that sellers took out unnecessary stuff and added paint... then cleaned it up!

OK...I was a complainer yesterday!
It all started when I got the Kentucky Utilities bill out of the mailbox.
Actually, I thought it would surely be cheaper because my electric was completely off for 6 days.
I was shocked to see that it was $15.00 higher than my last bill that even had some extra days thrown in.

When searching for that perfect house sometimes there are more factors than bedrooms, baths and basements.
On occasion, there is a piece of furniture that needs to fit in or the house just won't work. Sometimes these items are heirloom items that we just cannot part with.
