2017 saw first-time buyers making up 38% of all U.S. single-family home purchases. And if 2018 looks like the year you'll be achieving the dream of homeownership, you might just be wondering which cities are favorable for first-time home buyers.
Wallethub had the same question and sampled 300 cities of various sizes across three key dimensions- Affordability, Real-Estate Market and Quality of Life- and 27 relevant metrics. Gilbert, AZ came out number 10 in the list while Chandler ranks a respectable 11th place in the Best Cities For First-Time Buyers.

Not Every Potential Buyer is Ready to Buy a Home- YET!
It seems to be a constant debate at our office - should we be required to get a Buyer Broker Agreement, Proof of Funds or Pre-qualification letter right from the moment we talk to a potential buyer?
 
Feel free to leave your opinion in the comment section....
Here is my view:
 
You can certainly waste a lot of time taking potential buyers out even though they may or may not be ready to buy, BUT you can certainly pass up a lot of money if you pass up opportunities to meet with them … (3 comments)

Be glad you have a good Real Estate Agent (or at least you should), because there are many things that take place, documents to sign and many deadlines that occur between the time a contract is signed and when keys are turned over to you.
