2,000 New Jobs Coming To AZ With $1 Billion Nikola Semi-Truck Plant After 12 months and out of 30 possible locations in nine states, Buckeye, AZ has been chosen for the site of Nikola Motor Company's new hydrogen-electric semi-truck manufacturing headquarters facility. A joint announcement by Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey and the Utah-based company revealed the selection of the Phoenix suburb as the location for Nikola's zero-emission facility. Trevor Milton, CEO and founder of Nikola Motor Company, also announced the transfer of their R&D and headquarters to Arizona immediately.
