Did You Forget to Clean These Areas?
Going through my home and cleaning everything is not something I consider fun. I’m kind of a pick-a-chooser when it comes to what I actually don’t mind cleaning.
However many years ago, I learned from a good friend exactly what it meant to clean everything thoroughly. While some people take a “staycation” she took a “workcation” each year. Even though she had help (the couple who cleaned for her) she was right in there polishing and cleaning.
So, when you want to really get your home clean, don’t forget these areas…
LOOK UP…
Lightbulbs and lamp shades
Ceiling fan blades

How to Be Ready to Leave
Last week our area had strong storms and at one point a tornado watch was issued. Thankfully, my immediate area had lightning, some rains, and strong winds but no tornado.
However, it made me ask myself ...Am I prepared to leave or be out of the house if we have to?
I’ve been through a lot of hurricanes and have a list of what to do and how to prepare. But, with hurricanes you know it’s coming...you have days (usually) to prepare. Not so with a fire or flood, or a tornado or other emergency.
