The average Days on Market was 157 (down from 251 in February 2009)
Sold to list price difference was 93.49% ( up from 93.14% in February 2009)
Highest sales price was $643,000. (up from 443,750 in February of 2009)

Growing up there were always two jars in my parents refrigerator. Daddy ate Blue Plate Mayonnaise and Mom ate Miracle Whip. From my experience of the two you come down on one side of fence or the other. I landed on Mom's side and so did my brother.
When I got married to Donald he ate Mayonnaise, but since there wasn't any in the refrigerator and he didn't do the shopping he crossed over from the dark side. He now happily makes his sandwiches with my jar of Miracle Whip.
So how in the world does this relate to lake homes?

Finally the remodel is complete! One of my favorite places to eat has been closed the past few months for a serious remodel. My husband was missing spicy green beans. Bone Island Grill opened back up just in time for their wonderful 4th of July fireworks. The place looks great. School is out for summerso kids might be playing, walking, bike riding and skate boarding in neighborhoods around Lake Sinclair. Happens every summer. And of course there is the occasional deer crossing that you must stop and wait to avoid an accident.

Well for the first time in over 5 years I got to see snow on Sunday. Today the sky is blue and the snow has all melted away. By this weekend the temperatures will be back to low 70's for the highs at Lake Sinclair. Much more to my liking, although the snow was pretty.

When it comes to fishing tournaments that is! Lake Sinclair and Little River Park are home to several fishing tournaments each year. This photo was taken of Austin Nix by his fishing partner and grandfather Jerrill Ewing in May of 2005 at one of those many fishing tournaments. Austin and Jerrill still fish a lot.
