It was the summer of 1980 when I received in the mails with no return address a newspaper clipping of a cartoon drawing from the Detroit Free Press with a heading "Guindon's Detroit". It depicted an older couple in their kitchen when one says "Well, if things get very tight, we can always unload our Peter max collection."
I had joined the Artists Peter Max's staff earlier that year while I was living in New Your City. The cartoon did not mean a whole lot to me then even though economic times were hard. (1 comments)
