I am slow to bring a property to market. And I am proud of that. In fact, I think that more agents should be slow to bring a property to market. I covered this recently, but there was one other thing I neglected to mention... If you are getting ready to put your home on the market... or you WILL be doing so in the near future, it might not be a bad idea to get a "Pre-Listing Inspection." Yep. It is the same inspection your buyer would get when your house goes under contract. However, the advantage of getting this done before listing the house is that you will have the opportunity to correct any deficiencies. So, I was reading Bloodhound Blog a few days ago, and Greg Swann mentioned that he has started using Obeo for their virtual tour solutions. The virtual tours aren't the star of the show, though. The stars of the show are the interactive floor plans and the virtual decorator. Virtual tours are a dime a dozen. Everyone and their cousin offers some type of virtual tour. I think that this might be the most over-used word in our lexicon. We live in a world of Virtuals. Virtual Assistants Virtual Tours Virtual Stores Virtual Meetings Virtual Offices And my very favorite... Virtual Real Estate Yes kids, there is "virtual" "real" estate. Second Life offers people the opportunity to "own" real estate in a virtual world.
