We are just a week away from Thanksgiving and while other parts of the country are preparing for the slower, colder, winter months of real estate, the Coachella Valley is gearing up for the return of second homeowners and snowbirds. Our busy season is exactly opposite of most everyone else so come October, when our weather is sunny and 85 degrees, we start preparing for our busiest real estate time of the year.
Here in Palm Desert and the other nine surrounding cites that makeup the Coachella Valley, second homeowners start returning to their winter homes as early as September or October. November … (4 comments)

Competition to Buy Remains High in Palm Desert, CA  Competition among home buyers in Palm Desert, La Quinta, Indio and other Coachella Valley cities remains high. Right now, there are no shortage of people looking to buy, even as we head into our typically slower season of summer with 100+ degree days.
Properties priced under the $300,000 price point are definitely in short supply. If you have been holding off to sell during the past few years, now may be the time to consider putting your property on the market.
