I was talking to a realtor yesterday about planning for 2014, and the business changes that he wanted to implement.  He called me because he wanted to build a new website, and implement a bigger better social media presence, and he wanted you opinion. I suggested something else.
Call your friends, call your family, call everyone in your database, because the market here has pushed prices up past the peak of 2006 in most neighborhoods. Meaning freedom to move that a lot of Nashville home owners haven't had for a long time.

I'm not sure what they mean when they tell me that. Does it mean that they plan to spend more money, less money, bigger, smaller, or was it just that you really need to pay attention to what you are buying?
I would like to think that you should treat every home purchase with a lot of thought and consideration, because if you don't like what you bought, the cost and inconvenience of changing is considerable.

This weekend I was showing homes in Nashville for a Vanderbilt medical center nurse, and one of the homes she wanted to see was a forclosure in a really nice neighborhood. I had been warned by the listing agent that the carpet and hardwood floors would need to be replaced, so I was prepared.

Green Hills Homes Sales for April 2012 - Unlike the rest of the Nashville real estatemarket, Green Hills seems to be having a little bit slower recovery. Homes sales were up slightly in April with 25 closings compared to 24 last year, and median prices were up considerably at $455,000 compared to $419,500 last year.
