Hall of Heroes, Super Hero Museum, Elkhart, Indiana. Of the numerous museums in Elkhart County, the Hall of Heroes is the most exciting for Children and Super Hero enthusiasts combined. The Hall of Heroes was created by Allen Stewart, of Elkhart, as a replica building, "The Hall of Justice" from the Super-friends animated series, that was popular in the 1970's. The museum has a collection of over 50,000 comic books dating back to the 1940's and original artwork used in comic books and animation numbering in excess of 100 pieces.
