Norfolk, MA real estate market report November 2015.  The MLS is showing a total of 89 properties either Active, Contingent, Under Agreement, Sold, Expired or Canceled in the last 30 days.  There are 68 Active listings and 7 Sold in the same period of time. This indicates it is a Buyers Market with almost 10 months of inventory available for purchase.  A normal real estate market has 6 months of inventory.

norfolk real estate: Credit Scores Adjusting Down - 02/02/11 11:56 PM
Lenders have put the halts on many home sales over the last couple of years by demanding unrealistic credit scores to obtain financing.  Stories about getting to the closing table and having the lender halt the close because they reviewed the credit the days before the paper signing and found that the card was used to make a purchase which pushed the score down.  The home buyer has been suffering.  The economy has suffered and the tax payers are suffering because of the assistance the lending institutions have received from our government in terms of a bail-out.
