These things happen to all of us, but what to do about it is another opportunity.  It is never good to waste time, to keep your clients from wasting yours be preemptive.  Let them know you are not going to waste their time early in your relationship.  Then don't.  Send them what they want, ask them questions, actually listen to what they are saying and provide that to them rather then pushing your own inventory.  When they kick the tires for a while, ask them questions...is it time to buy, what are your objections, is there some change in your situation, … (3 comments)
