I went this morning to view this one bedroom unit and to take pictures for my clients. I was really impressed. If you are thinking of investments, bank repos are the best for you right now. Most are in great shape and are priced really well. Put down 20-30% and then rent them out- rent will cover the mortgage. Wait 3-5 years and you should be okay. There was an article in today's paper about the new Trump International Hotel and Tower here in Las Vegas. In it, Donald Trump says that he is confident of his building's success in the future. He says that although only 20% of the units have closed escrow, he is not worried. He says the banks have become tougher on the buyer's ability to get financing.
He is not worried about Las Vegas's future. He says it will be just fine.

As I keep saying, now is the time to buy real estate here in Las Vegas. This is a great buying opportunity. Prices have come down to where it is now becoming a good investment. There are many great bank repos in good areas that are priced $100,000 or more below last year's prices. Buy now and waut 3-5 years and you should be sitting pretty.
