This Block Party is taking us back to where it all began—the 1900 block of Stearns Drive—and we’ve expanded to the 2000 block. For our neighbors who moved to Faircrest Heights since the year 2000, you missed our annual block parties. We celebrated our 20th in 2001. The 405 Freeway will be closed for 53 hours between the US 101 and I-10 Freeways on the weekend of July 16-17, 2011 for planned demolition work on the Mulholland Bridge, part of a major I-405 improvement project. The specific freeway closure boundaries are as follows:

Thursday I received “ THE CALL” I got my first listing in my farm! I have been door knocking the area where I live, the lovely Faircrest Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. My dog Ruby and I go out every month and it wasn’t happening fast enough, until I got the call I had been waiting for! Yesterday my associate David and I door knocked the neighborhood in the morning and had a neighbors preview open house in the afternoon. We had such a great day and had the support of my community. Over the past two weeks, I have had the pleasure of helping two of my first time home buyer’s purchase lofts in the Historic Eckardt Building at Santee Village in Downtown LA. Located in the fashion district, these buildings sat unappreciated for decades. In 1998, a 10 year-long process to restore and re-adapt into condo/loft living began.
