An odd concept unique to the Northern Virginia area that goes completely against common sense, never get in the car of a stranger!!! Yet, hardworking folks in Fairfax County do it all the time. There are designated areas, which allow commuters to park, and hop in the car of a fellow commuter and head into town via the HOV lanes. The drivers head to the Pentagon, DC, and Crystal City.
