Last week, a potential buyer became offended when I declined to show him one of my south Orange County listings. Now, I want to show my listings. I want everyone in the world to see how wonderful they are – online. I post lots of pictures and good descriptions on every real estate website I can find. I dedicate a website to the property. This week, the Senate approved an extension of the deadline to close otherwise-qualified home purchases, from June 30 until September 30. This move would give extra time for buyers who are unable to close by June 30, due to short-sale delays and the volume of loan application already in progress. It is estimated that the extension would benefit approximately 180,000 purchasers whose lenders are unable to complete their transactions by the deadline.
