wildfires: Over 2.2 Million U.S. Homes at Risk to Wildfires

According to a study by Core Logic, over 2.2 million homes in the U.S. are exposed to a very high risk of wildfire damage. The estimated reconstruction cost of the at risk homes is over $606 billion. What's more, over 1 million of these homes fall into the highest wildfire risk segment. Most of the risk is held in the 13 western most states - Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
