woodward park: Fresno in the Fall

Fresno summers can get blistering hot; you get used to 100+ degree weather. Winters can be brutal when the fog rolls in. But spring and fall are fabulous. Today when I drove by Woodward Park I pulled in to catch a shot of the trees with autumn leaves.

woodward park: What Do You Think Of These Two ?

Since everything was quite today and we had a beautiful blue sky filled with fair weather cumulus clouds, I decided to go to Woodward Park and take some pictures.
Woodward Park is beautiful as you can see from this picture. When you enter the park by its south gateway you immediately encounter this lake. I walked around and took at LOT of pictures. Here are two of my favorites:
This was taken at the the north end of the lake pictured above.
This Peacock was perched on the roof of the entry to the Japanese Tea Garden (closed for the winter)
