Veterans' Benefits! Regarding our Veterans service. Today, 11.11.2010, I am reminded that my father served in the Army from 1943 thru 1945; or from 19 years of age thru 21. It’s hard to imagine my father, at that age, fighting for his country’s freedom....our country’s freedom. Recently I applied for Veterans' Benefits for my mother, who is in assisted living. Many veterans or spouses are not aware of the Dependency and Indemnity Compensation available. For more information, go to: http://www.va.gov .
