Unrestricted 30 acres, creek, pasture and views in Murphy NC!
BEAUTIFUL 30.66 UNRESTRICTED ACRES, CREEK & VIEWS. When you're at this unique property it feels like you're way out of town down a long country road, but really you're just minutes from downtown Murphy NC and the Wildcat Subdivision. Nice creek running through property, lots of pasture and rolling property just perfect for building and great views on the ridge. Older 1930's Farm Home is given no value.
Lots of possibilities! For more information click on Martins Creek.

cherokee county nc: Why We Chose Real Estate - Moving to the Murphy NC Mountains! - 06/16/13 11:01 PM
Why We Chose Real Estate - Moving to the Murphy NC Mountains!
Sometimes it takes half your lifetime to find the right profession and place to live, work and play. I grew up in Homestead, Florida but my Grandparents had a summer home in the cool mountains in the small town of Burnsville, NC. This is where we spent all our summers and most of that time was spent down in the Cattail Creek that flowed right outside the home. Those summers continued as I became an adult and it was on a December vacation up to Burnsville that I … (0 comments)

cherokee county nc: When is Dogwood Winter in the Murphy NC mountains? - 04/18/13 01:57 AM
When is Dogwood Winter in Murphy, NC?   Old-timers in the Appalachians know there are several named "winters" following the officially arrival of spring and Dogwood Winter and Blackberry Winter are perhaps the best known.

It’s a term used by Southerners to describe a period of cold weather that coincides with the blooming of the local dogwoods and blackberries, usually occurring in the mid April to May months. The dogwoods are all bloomed out and the blackberries are soon to follow.

With the possibility of frost happening during Dogwood and Blackberry winters, many Southerners here in Murphy, NC wait until … (0 comments)
