In continuing the Coffee Shop Tour of Franklin, TN I want to draw you attention to the Hot Spot Coffee located at 1441 New Hwy 96. If you head west on New Hwy 96 out of Franklin it is on the South Side Just Past Freedom Middle School. Great Coffee, Great Atmosphere and Great service.

I had the opportunity to try a new restaurant a few weeks back. Oscar’s Taco Shop on Mallory Lane in Cool Springs. I was delighted. I found the 3 G’s, good food, good prices and good service. The food I have had reminded me of when I lived in San Diego in the early 80’s. I really liked the Fish Taco's and the Carne Asada Burrito. I have been back 4 times in the last month. Try it. I think you will find it to be quite enjoyable.

One of the nicer places to go with your dog in Nashville is the dog park located at Edwin Warner Park at 50 Vaughn Road just south Old Hickory Blvd. It is right next to Warner Park Headquarters. It is a large park with plenty of room for your dog to run. It is fully fenced. There is water inside the fence for your animal which I think is one of the better features about this park.
