mortgage: Find a VA Home for Sale in Tennessee - 03/07/10 04:16 AM
You can buy a home directly from the Department of Veteran's Affairs.
The VA will take properties back as a result of foreclosures on VA-guaranteed and VA-financed loans.  You do not have to be a Veteran to buy a VA-owned property.  VA owned properties are available to both veterans and non-veterans.
BAC Home Loan Servicing,LP is VA's service provider and they list and sell the VA-acquired property.  You can contact your Realtor or find listings here.  Equator Financial Solutions.  You can browse through the site and see if there is anything there that might be of interest.  I would recommend strongly … (1 comments)

mortgage: Oscar’s Taco Shop - 03/05/10 02:46 AM
I had the opportunity to try a new restaurant a few weeks back. Oscar’s Taco Shop on Mallory Lane in Cool Springs. I was delighted. I found the 3 G’s, good food, good prices and good service. The food I have had reminded me of when I lived in San Diego in the early 80’s. I really liked the Fish Taco's and the Carne Asada Burrito. I have been back 4 times in the last month. Try it. I think you will find it to be quite enjoyable.

mortgage: Places for you and your dog in Nashville – Warner Dog Park - 02/15/10 12:32 PM
Places for you and your dog in Nashville - Warner Dog Park
One of the nicer places to go with your dog in Nashville is the dog park located at Edwin Warner Park at 50 Vaughn Road just south Old Hickory Blvd.  It is right next to Warner Park Headquarters.  It is a large park with plenty of room for your dog to run.  It is fully fenced.  There is water inside the fence for your animal which I think is one of the better features about this park.  From anywhere inside the fence you can see you dog.  No blind … (2 comments)

mortgage: When can I drop my Mortgage Insurance on my home in Franklin Tennessee? - 02/02/10 05:20 AM
When can I drop my Mortgage Insurance on my home in Franklin Tennessee?
When can I drop my Mortgage Insurance on my home in Franklin Tennessee?  This is a question I hear frequently primarily due to the loss of the 80/20 or 100% purchase loan.  In today's market if you do not have 20% to put down you are going to pay some form on Mortgage Insurance.  Either Primary Mortgage Insurance (PMI) on the Conventional Loan or Mortgage insurance Premium (MIP) on the FHA side.  The exceptions are with VA Loans and USDA/Rural loans.
What is Mortgage Insurance?

mortgage: First Time Home Buyer and Long Time Resident Credit - 01/23/10 12:09 AM
Just a recap.  I have spoken to several business partners recently still unclear on the details of the home buyer credit.  This information comes directly for the IRS.
